to the twelfth annual Wakefield Homecoming Festival,

this year scheduled

for Saturday, September 24th (raindate October 1st), 10 - 4. Featuring

one of the area's finest craft shows and seasonal pleasures, there is something here to delight the whole family!

Old Fashioned Pleasures

Enjoy a horse-drawn hayride.

Pick out your pumpkin at our farmstand. Enjoy a cup of cider.

Let the kids enjoy the petting farm and pony rides.

Build your own scarecrow;

enter the blueberry pie eating contest.

Taste a slice of the "Best Pie in Wakefield."

And while you're here, enjoy some of the area's finest shopping.

The Homecoming Craft Show and Sale

held on Wakefield Upper Common

features over one hundred & fifty of the area's finest artists and craftsmen.

This fine show offers only crafts that are hand-made by the crafter --

no commercially produced merchandise will be accepted.

The Homecoming Craft Show benefits Wakefield's annual

town day, Midsummer Night.

Traditional music and entertainment abounds at the Homecoming:

Kids' fun

includes the children's craft tables and games,

inflatable amusements (moonbounces, obstacle courses, velcro walls, seas of balls, etc),

the pony rides and horserides, the petting farm,

the puppet shows and entertainment attractions, the food, the contests, the games of chance...

and much, much more!

 

Directions

Take Route 128 to exit 40 (route 129, Wakefield). Follow the signs for 129; the festival is located about one mile from the highway, on the shores of Lake Quannapowitt.
