The Wakefield Historical Society was organized in 1890 * To preserve documents and artifacts related to Wakefield and its historical record. * To inform Wakefield residents and other interested persons about the town's history through public programs, involvement with the schools and Museum Open Houses.
The Society's Museum is located on the ground floor of the Americal Civic Center. For the convenience of researchers and other interested persons, the museum will be open on the second Tuesday of every month from September to May. |
