Wakefield's Historical Museum:

The West Ward School

When the work on the 155-year old schoolhouse is completed, it will serve as the town's museum: acting as living history classroom for the town's children to experience during May and June of each year, and, for ten months of the year, hosting exhibits by the Wakefield Historical Society, including the Society's extensive collection of Wakefield Rattan and Wicker and other historical treasures. About $100,000 is needed to complete the work, but the goal is within sight!
